1、 Overview General
QJ4-80C gas relay is a protective device with an oil storage tank transformer or on load tap changer. The relay is installed in the connecting pipeline between the transformer, on load tap changer oil tank, and on load tap changer.

As shown in the structural core of the relay, when the transformer is working normally, the relay is generally filled with transformer oil. If there is a minor malfunction inside the transformer, the gas generated by oil decomposition will accumulate at the top of the container, forcing the oil level to drop under pressure. When the floating ball descends to a certain limited position with the oil level, the associated dynamic magnetic switch will close, connect the signal circuit, and emit a signal; When the oil temperature reaches 85 degrees, a signal is emitted. If there is an eye fault inside the transformer, oil surge will occur, causing oil flow in the connecting pipe and triggering the baffle G. When the baffle moves to a certain limit position, it will be linked with magnetic cutting off all power sources connected to the transformer, thus protecting the transformer.
