FZP type silicone rubber anti fouling and climbing skirt
Silicone rubber anti fouling and climbing skirts are mainly used for ceramic sleeves such as pillars, switches, circuit breakers, lightning arresters, voltage (current) transformers, etc. in 10-500kV substations to increase their climbing distance and solve the problem of insufficient climbing distance and poor pollution flashover resistance of existing ceramic insulators, in order to improve their pollution resistance.
Performance characteristics of FZP silicone rubber anti fouling and climbing skirt
1. Has excellent hydrophobicity, mobility, and electrical insulation properties, and good resistance to pollution flashover;
2. Excellent resistance to atmospheric aging, ozone aging, high and low temperature, and humidity:
3. Good resistance to electric leakage and corrosion;
4. Wide applicability, simple installation, and low cost;
5. Electrical performance: One minute power frequency dry withstand voltage ≥ 45KV/piece
6. By using a climbing skirt, the crawling distance is increased by 20%, and the pollution flashover voltage is increased by more than 50%.

Installation method
Determine the number and location of installations based on the pollution level at the substation site to achieve the best results. Wrap the silicone rubber climbing skirt around the porcelain insulator pillar, and use special glass glue or single component silicone to firmly bond the opening and joint parts. Place one climbing skirt at intervals of 2-3 porcelain umbrella skirts. The installation of the silicone rubber climbing skirt is shown in the figure on the right. From the product images, it can be seen that the climbing distance beyond the porcelain skirt is an additional climbing distance. The total creepage distance of insulators should be equal to or greater than the creepage distance required by the pollution level of the region.
