1. Overview:
The DZ-4 device is composed of the principle of identifying the direction of the first half wave of transient zero sequence voltage. ZD-4 type is used in neutral ungrounded systems. When a single-phase grounding occurs in the system, this device sends out a system grounding signal. Although the on duty personnel can turn the switch, when switching the unconnected line, the zero sequence directional element will activate and emit a signal. This device can switch 20 lines simultaneously.
