The DHM3 series electromagnetic power-off brake is a friction brake that disengages (releases) when powered on and applies spring braking when powered off. It is mainly used to match Y series motors with YEJ series electromagnetic braking three-phase asynchronous motors. Widely used in metallurgy, construction, chemical, food, machine tools, printing, packaging and other machinery, as well as in braking situations during power outages (anti inspection).  

The DHM3 series electromagnetic power-off brake has the advantages of compact structure, easy installation, wide adaptability, low noise, high operating frequency, sensitive action, and reliable braking, making it an ideal automation actuator. Additional protective rings can be added to increase the protection level to IP54.

Precautions

The friction plate and armature surface must be free of oil stains and must be kept clean.
During installation, it is necessary to ensure an air gap of "δ"
The gear sleeve must not have axial displacement
After installation, the hollow bolt must be unscrewed and locked onto the rear cover or flange of the motor
