1. The starting current of a star connection is approximately 1.8-2.6 times the rated current of the motor.
2. The starting torque of the star connection is 1/3 of the direct starting torque of the triangle, which is 50% of the rated torque.
3. When the motor starts, it is connected in a star shape, and during normal operation, it is connected in a triangle shape. When starting, when the speed reaches 80% of the rated speed, the starter switches from a star connection to a delta connection.
4. The rated current for starting the HB series linear and right angled star delta conversion contactors is the rated current value when connected in a delta configuration, and the maximum controlled motor power is the controlled power when connected in a delta configuration.
5. The load when starting the motor with the Star Triangle starter belongs to the AC3 usage category.
6. The Star Triangle Starter is only suitable for three-phase motors with six stator terminals connected.
