The YEJF series electromagnetic brake three-phase asynchronous motor is a novel electrified brake motor carefully designed according to the requirements of the national standard JB/T 6456. It is a derivative series of the Y series motor, consisting of an electrified brake at the rear end of the Y series motor. Its power level, installation size, and external dimensions are the same as those of the YEJ brake motor.

The YEJF series electromagnetic braking three-phase asynchronous motor is suitable for various transmission mechanical equipment that require special braking function requirements. The best braking effect can be achieved through automatic control methods. Due to the absence of braking torque under no-load conditions, it is not suitable for equipment with gravity sag such as lifting machinery.

Structural characteristics:
1. The protection level of the motor body is IP44, and the brake part is IP23;
2. The cooling method for the electric motor is IC411 (self fan cooling);
3. The insulation level of the motor is B or F;
4. The insulation level of the brake is Class F.

Usage conditions:
1. Rated voltage: The motor is rated at AC380V 50Hz; The electromagnetic brake is DC24V (or according to the voltage requirements of the brake design)

Inspection and adjustment of gaps:
The distance between the armature and the magnetic yoke is called the gap (δ). The normal working gap for YEJF71~YEJF112 motors is 0.45~
0.55mm， The maximum wear clearance does not exceed 1.0mm, and the YEJF132-YEJF180 motors have a clearance of 0.65-0.75mm, with a maximum wear clearance of no more than 1.2mm. The motors are adjusted to the normal working clearance range when they leave the factory.
After long-term operation of the motor, the clearance value increases due to the wear of the friction plate. If it exceeds the maximum wear clearance, it will affect the normal suction and braking of the brake and must be adjusted.
Adjustment method: According to the requirements of the motor model (δ), select the thickness of the feeler gauge corresponding to the maximum wear clearance, insert it into the clearance "δ" to check the value, and adjust the clearance when it is greater than the maximum wear clearance. Select the thickness of the feeler gauge corresponding to the working gap, use an Allen wrench to loosen the Allen screw (7) so that the adjusting nut (6) can be rotated. Insert the feeler gauge into the gap "δ", screw the adjusting nut (6) inward to press the feeler gauge sheet, and then rotate the motor rotor to check that there is no friction between the armature (5) and the magnetic yoke (2). Use an Allen wrench to tighten the Allen screw (7) and pull out the feeler gauge.
