Product Overview:
MY2 surge protector (hereinafter referred to as "protector") is suitable for TN-S, TN-C, TN-C-S, TT, IT and other power supply systems with AC 50/60Hz, 380V and below, to protect the power grid from lightning strikes or surge overvoltage.
MY2 surge protector
Failure disengagement device
The module of the protector is equipped with a failure disengagement device. When the protector fails due to overheating or breakdown, the failure disengagement device can automatically disconnect it from the power grid and provide an indication signal. When the protector is normal, the label displays green, and when it fails and disengages, the label displays red.
alarm
The alarm is powered by AC220V, and the indicator light is green when the protector is working normally. The normally open contact is closed, and the normally closed contact is open. Sound and light alarm function: When the protector module fails, the alarm will emit a buzzing sound and turn the green light during normal operation into a red light. If the maintenance personnel press the stop button, the buzzing sound will temporarily stop (but the red light will continue to display). If the fault is still not eliminated after 24 hours, the alarm will beep again.

Installation location and application
Installed at the junction of LPZ1 or LPZ2 and LPZ3 zones, with a protection level of III.
The protector is installed on a standard 35mm track;
The protector is connected with copper wires of 2.5-35mm2, and there are two wiring methods:
(1) Connect the power switch to the protector, and then connect the protector to the load end. This method is suitable for distribution boxes with load currents below 100A. The cross-sectional area of the wire should be selected according to the load current (see Figure 1)
(2) From the power switch connection to the protector, and also from the power switch connection to the load end. This method is suitable for distribution boxes with a load current of 100A or more. The cross-sectional area of the wire connected to the protector is not affected by the load current, but the length must not exceed 500mm (see Figure 2).
The grounding wire should use a dual color conductor with a size of 4mm2 or more, and the length should not exceed 500mm.
In order to prevent the failure of surge protectors from affecting the normal operation of the power grid, the protector connected to the L line
A 10-32A fuse should be connected in series.

Adjustment, use, and maintenance
SPD does not need to be adjusted after installation as required;
As long as SPD is installed properly, it can automatically protect the power grid;
Regularly check if the module label turns red during operation and replace faulty components in a timely manner.
The appearance and installation dimensions of the protector
The appearance and installation dimensions of the protector are the same as MY2-10
