Application of JBS-15 PT Disconnecting Lock Relay:
The JBS-15 PT disconnection blocking relay is mainly used for voltage transformer PT secondary circuit disconnection blocking. When one or two phases of the PT secondary circuit are disconnected, the relay can quickly block the protection device.
This relay is composed of integrated circuits and has the characteristics of high sensitivity, fast speed, and low power consumption. When one or two phases of PT break, the relay operates correctly and the action indicator light is on. When the PT opening triangle shows 3Uo, it can prevent the disconnection locking relay from acting.
Working Principle:
The principle block diagram is shown in Figure 1. The voltages Ua, Ub, Uc, and Un of the PT secondary star winding are applied to the star connection circuit composed of capacitors and YH1 to monitor the integrity of the PT. When one or two phases of the PT secondary circuit are disconnected, YH1 provides voltage output to prompt J1 to operate.
YH2 is connected to the open delta winding of PT. When there is voltage output from the open delta winding, J2 is activated and J1 relay is locked to prevent accidental tripping of the disconnection locking device in case of system short circuit fault.
