8、 Transportation and Storage

9、 Acceptance and installation

10、 Usage and maintenance

11、 Methods for diagnosing faults
The capacitance and tan values of the capacitance part of the impedance capacitance overvoltage absorber are measured using a high-precision capacitance bridge when the absorber is put into operation. When conducting preventive tests, the same bridge should be used to measure the capacitance and tan values. And compare with the previous measurement value to see if there is any change. If the capacitance of the 40.5KV product increases by 2.5% and the capacitance of 7.2KV and 12KV increases by more than 5%, it indicates that there is an internal fault in the capacitor and it should be replaced in a timely manner. If the measured tan&value increases significantly, it should also be replaced.
When conditions permit, a withstand voltage test can also be conducted, using either power frequency withstand voltage or DC withstand voltage. The withstand voltage value should be the same as the acceptance test, and there should be no flashover or breakdown during the test before continuing to operate. Otherwise, it must be replaced.
