purpose
The DX-3 relay is used for signal indication. When the protected system fails and the main protection relay operates, various light signals are controlled through the contacts of the flashing relay.
Principle of Action 2
When the rated voltage is applied to the power supply circuit of the relay, the parallel capacitor is charged through an additional resistor, and the voltage gradually increases. When the voltage rises to the operating voltage of the intermediate relay, the relay operates and disconnects the power supply circuit. At this point, the capacitor is discharged through the intermediate relay, and the voltage at the relay's operating position gradually decreases. When the voltage at both ends of the capacitor drops to the return voltage of the intermediate relay, the relay is released, and the movable part returns to its original position, connecting the power supply circuit and starting to repeat the above cycle.
