HD13B-1000开启式刀开关主要适用于交流50Hz，额定工作电压400V及直流额定工作电压230V，额定电流1600A及以下的配电电路中作电源隔离及电源转换隔离之用。本产品性能符合GB14048.3标准。
开关及转换开关也能承载正常电路条件下的电流，以及在一定时间内承载非正常条件下（如短路）的电流。带有灭弧室的产品在规定的条件下可用来接通或分断交流电路。
