The HD26 series DC knife switch is suitable for use in circuits with DC 1500V and below, rated current 4000A and below, for cutting off and converting circuits when the DC circuit is unloaded. Mainly used in low and medium voltage high current DC transmission and distribution systems, as a key electrical component for connecting or disconnecting isolation between power boxes and electrical networks. DC power transmission and distribution systems have been widely used in industries such as subways, light rails, trolleybuses, metallurgy, atomic energy research and testing institutes both domestically and internationally. They can also be directly used in conjunction with various large DC switchgear and traction box type distribution stations.

The HD26 series DC knife switch is suitable for indoor installation, and its moving contact assembly consists of multiple brake blades with high rebound performance. Both the brake blades and the static contacts are made of electrical copper with silver plating on the surface. At the electrical contact point between the gate blade and the static contact, hard silver contact rivets are riveted on the gate blade, which enables multi-point hard silver point contact when the gate blade is electrically connected to the static contact, ensuring the reliability of electrical contact and good conductivity, thereby ensuring their long working life. The HD26 series DC knife switch is driven by an electric motor. Remote control operation is possible, and manual crank insertion into the corresponding mechanism can also be used for emergency manual operation.
