The main characteristics of ZD126 DC traction motor are wide constant power speed regulation range, excellent commutation performance, and good universality. It is currently one of the largest power narrow gauge diesel locomotive traction motors in China. The machine base adopts a steel plate pressure welded bearing structure, the armature winding is horizontally arranged, the armature winding wire is made of Kapton film wire, and the ground insulation is made of NOMEX paper slot type insulation. The front end is tied with a non-woven tape, and the rear end is tied with non-magnetic tin plated steel wire. The brush holder adopts a reactive type, and the brush holder spring is a spiral compression spring. The motor uses excellent insulation materials, and the stator and rotor adopt vacuum pressure coating technology. This motor is mainly installed on meter gauge locomotives.
