The AC series AC electric dynamometer is used to test the power of engines, reducers, and motors, with high accuracy and fast response speed, and can be used for dynamic testing. Composition: AC dynamometer, torque and speed sensors, ABB AC variable frequency speed regulation and distribution system, computer testing control system.

Working principle: The AC power generated by the AC dynamometer is converted into DC power through an ABB frequency converter, and then converted back into AC power for grid connection (or consumed by a chopper resistor cabinet). The ABB AC variable frequency speed control system regulates the current of the motor to control the speed and torque of the prime mover.
