Purpose:
ZJJ-1A, ZJJ-1/A, and JJJ-1 insulation monitoring relays are mainly used to monitor the insulation condition of low-voltage DC busbars. When the insulation of the busbar to ground drops to a certain value, the relay will actuate and issue an alarm signal.

Working Principle:
The relay model and meaning are as follows: The relay adopts the bridge principle, with a reed relay as the sensitive element and a high impedance intermediate relay as the outlet element. The sensitive element is connected across the ground and the balancing resistor. When the resistance of the DC bus to ground on both sides is equal, no current flows through the sensitive element winding; When the insulation resistance value on one side decreases, an unbalanced current flows through the sensitive element winding. The greater the difference in insulation resistance values between the two sides, the greater the unbalanced current. When the unbalanced current reaches a certain value, the relay will activate and issue an alarm signal.

5.1 Rated DC voltage: 48V, 110V, 220V.
5.2 Action insulation resistance value: (25~15) kW at 220V; At 110V, it is (6.4-3.7) kW; At 48V, it is (1.5-0.85) kW.

5.5 Working conditions
a) The usage location does not allow explosive media, and the surrounding media should not contain corrosive metals, gases that damage insulation, or conductive media. It is not allowed to be filled with water vapor or have serious mold presence;
b) Strong vibrations and impacts are not allowed in the usage location;
c) The usage location should have facilities to defend against rain, snow, wind, and sand;
d) The usage location does not allow an external magnetic induction intensity exceeding 1.5mT.
The conductive circuits of the 5.6 dielectric strength relay should be able to withstand an AC test voltage of 2kV (effective value) and 50Hz between the exposed non charged metal parts, output contacts, and the casing for 1 minute without insulation breakdown or flashover.
5.7 Electrical anti-interference relays shall comply with GB7261 and GB6261 "Electrical anti-interference tests for static relays and protective devices".
