DS-JDX and DS-1DX have the same appearance, features, functions, applications, and technical specifications, but their internal structures are different and their working principles are also different.
There is only one core intelligent short circuit detection chip in DS-1DX, while DS-JDX has a two in one intelligent detection chip for detecting short circuits and ground faults.

Performance characteristics

Fault indication: During normal operation, the window is displayed in white; When a short circuit or grounding fault occurs, the window will display in red.  
Online operation: directly installed on the line, maintenance free.  
Strong anti-interference: The signal is not affected by lines, excitation inrush current, high-order harmonics, current fluctuations, or cable distributed capacitance bypass.  
Automatic reset: After flipping the card, it will automatically reset according to the set time. The DS-2DX cable type short circuit indicator can be manually reset.  
Live loading and unloading: Live loading and unloading are extremely simple and do not affect the operation of the line.

Working principle of DS-JDX grounding short circuit two in one intelligent circuit fault indicator
The principle of short-circuit fault in the two in one grounding short-circuit is the same as that of DS-1DX
Grounding detection principle: Sample the first half wave of capacitive current at the moment of grounding and the first half wave of voltage at the moment of grounding, compare their phases. When the capacitive current at the moment of sampling grounding suddenly changes and exceeds a certain value, and is in phase with the first half wave of voltage at the moment of grounding, and the wire to ground voltage decreases, it is judged that the line has been grounded. If the indicators of phase 3, 6, and 9 on line 2 turn red while indicator 12 remains white, it can be determined that point D has malfunctioned

Application scope of DS-JDX grounding short circuit two in one intelligent circuit fault indicator

Installed at the middle section and branch entrance of long lines, it can indicate the faulty section and branch of the line.  
Installed at the exit of the substation, it can be determined whether the fault is caused by the user.  
Installed at the user's transformer inlet, it can be determined whether the fault is caused by the user.  
Installed at the connection between cables and overhead lines, it can distinguish whether the fault is in the cable section

Installation tools
The installation tools for DS-1DX and DS-JDX are shown in the bottom right corner of the figure. The specific installation method only requires placing an insulating rod at the bottom of the installation tool,
Unscrew the top bolt of the indicator and place it in the installation tool, then clip the indicator into the cable to complete the installation
