DS-JD grounding and short-circuit fault indicator is a detection device designed for automatic monitoring of power supply systems in the power grid, suitable for high-voltage switchgear and power distribution systems below 35KV (inclusive). Mainly used for detecting, indicating, transmitting fault signals, and sending remote indication alarms, it also has memory and recovery functions. Enable maintenance personnel to accurately identify the interval where faults occur, improve their ability to analyze faults, quickly eliminate faults, narrow down power outage areas, and shorten power outage times. It plays an important role in ensuring the safe operation of the power grid and improving the quality of power supply. Mainly installed in the feed out circuit and power distribution system of electrical equipment such as high-voltage switchgear, ring main unit, cable distribution box, etc.
Main characteristics of DS-JD grounding and short circuit fault indicator
Strong anti-interference ability: The sensor and the detection object are always in an equipotential state, without any interference from surrounding electromagnetic fields, and there is no insulation breakdown problem. Optocoupler isolation and fiber/cable transmission ensure safe, accurate, reliable, and stable signal detection.
Using microcontroller chips: Due to occasional faults, the microcontroller chip and related circuits enter a sleep energy-saving state under normal circumstances; Once an interface fault signal occurs, immediately wake up the microcontroller chip and related circuits, start the setting program and start timing, causing the LED to work at a certain frequency and duty cycle, while the relay acts and remotely alarms; After running to the set reset time or pressing the reset button, the LED stops working, the relay resets, and the microcontroller chip and related circuits re-enter the sleep energy-saving state.
The sensor is passive: it directly detects signals online and uses the electromagnetic field changes generated by fault currents to generate pulse signals to excite the circuit, without affecting the normal operation of the power grid.
Lithium battery power supply: No external power supply required, stable and reliable power supply quality. Powered by a lithium battery, the service life can reach at least 8 years

Installation and usage instructions
When installing the grounding fault sensor, unscrew the fastening screws at both ends of the steel strip to release it, then insert the three-phase cable into it. Tighten the fastening screws in the appropriate position, tighten the nylon cable tie to prevent it from loosening, and then connect the cable to the grounding sensor terminal on the back panel of the display instrument.
When installing the short-circuit fault sensor, unscrew the screws at both ends of the fastening ring, wrap the cable around it, tighten the screws on the fastening ring, and turn the adjusting screw to fix it on the cable. Then connect one end of the optical cable to the optical cable interface, tighten the screw, and connect the other end of the optical cable to the short-circuit interface on the back panel of the display instrument. When connecting
Pay attention to the phase.
After installation, press the detection/reset button for self check. The indicator light flashes, indicating that the instrument is working properly. Then press the button again, and the indicator light stops flashing, indicating that it has been put into operation.
