1、 Introduction
The GD type eddy current sensor is composed of a GD type preamplifier and an eddy current probe combination, and it is a proximity sensing system. Due to its long-term reliability, high sensitivity, strong anti-interference ability, non-contact measurement, fast response speed, high temperature resistance, and ability to work continuously in harsh environments such as oil, steam, and water for a long time, the detection is not affected by oil, steam, and other media. It has been widely used in large and medium-sized enterprises such as electricity, petrochemicals, metallurgy, steel, aerospace, etc., to monitor and protect the shaft displacement, vibration, speed, expansion difference, eccentricity, oil film thickness, etc. of various rotating machinery online, providing holographic dynamic characteristics for precision diagnostic systems and effectively protecting equipment. The eddy current displacement sensor system mainly includes a probe, an extension cable (optional), a preamplifier, and accessories. Wide linear range, good dynamic response, and strong anti-interference ability.
Eddy current sensor is a non-contact displacement sensor based on the principle of high-frequency eddy current effect. The high-frequency current generated in the preamplifier flows into the probe coil from the oscillator, and the coil generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field. When the surface of the tested metal is close to the coil, an induced current, namely eddy current, is generated on the metal surface due to the action of high-frequency electromagnetic field. This current generates an alternating magnetic field in the opposite direction to the coil magnetic field, and the superposition of these two magnetic fields changes the impedance of the original coil. So the change in distance between the probe and the measured metal surface can be measured by the change in impedance of the probe coil. The preamplifier outputs a direct current voltage proportional to the distance based on the change in impedance of the probe coil.
The probe head diameter comes in specifications such as 3, 5, 8, 11, 14, 18, 25, 35, 36, 50, and 60. The linear range ranges from 0.5mm to 50mm and is compatible with products from Philips and Bentley. The temperature drift is below 0.05%/℃, and the mechanical connection has high strength, excellent tensile and torsional properties, high-frequency coaxial cable, and beautiful metal armor protection. A preamplifier is an electronic signal processor that linearly converts the distance between the probe end face sensed by the probe and the measured metal body into a voltage or current signal, which is sent to a secondary instrument or computer system. Additional PPS engineering plastic insulation for easy installation. Fault tolerant design: The preamplifier will not be damaged due to any wiring errors. Deep negative feedback technology for electronic circuits, with extremely high operational stability. The standard output characteristic equation ensures the consistency of the output. According to user requirements, there are options for both room temperature (0-70 ℃) and high temperature (-30 ℃ -100 ℃).
