Usage:
Simply string the 25 core, 15 core, or 9-core D-type standard connector RS232 interface lightning arrester into the data cable. The XB-COM-D9 RS232 interface lightning arrester needs to be grounded.
Function and application scope:

Installation and maintenance methods:
At the front end of the protected equipment's line, connect the XB-SL-DATA data dedicated line lightning arrester in series, with the input terminal (2-3) IN connected to the data transmission line and the output terminal (2-3) OUT connected to the protected equipment, and make a reliable electrical connection between the lightning arrester grounding terminal and the ground wire.
If it is found that the installed lightning arrester cannot transmit data normally, remove the lightning arrester and directly connect it to the equipment. If it still cannot transmit normally, the lightning arrester is intact and other reasons should be investigated.
